Dress Code Requirements
Grades One to Seven
Students in Grades 1-7 are expected to follow the school dress code. Uniforms can be purchased through our two uniform suppliers: Cambridge or NEXT.
SHIRTS – Plain white COLLARED shirt, blouse or golf shirt. Blouses must be collared - no ruffles, sequins, decorative designs, or embellishments. The only acceptable logo is the school logo available from Cambridge Uniforms.
PANTS – Charcoal grey dress pants. A dress pant is a pant with a single stitch on the side and no outside pockets.
NO cords, jeans, skinny jeans, jeggings, sweat pants, sweat pant style or pants with cargo or side pockets.
SKIRTS - PLAIN charcoal grey skirt. Grey or white tights OR knee socks may be worn under a skirt. Leggings are not permitted as part of the school uniform.
JUMPERS – PLAIN charcoal grey jumpers. Plain grey regular dresses are not part of our dress code. Grey or white tights or knee socks may be worn under a skirt. Leggings are not permitted as part of the school uniform.
SHORTS – Charcoal grey dress shorts. No side cargo pockets or decorative detail. Dress shorts must be plain and of appropriate length and sizing.
SWEATERS – PLAIN burgundy sweaters - no ruffles, sequins, decorative designs, or embellishments. Sweaters must be the correct burgundy colour- see Cambridge website for correct burgundy. The only acceptable logo is the school logo available from Cambridge Uniforms
CARDIGANS – PLAIN burgundy cardigans - no ruffles, sequins, decorative designs, or embellishments. Cardigans must match the approved burgundy colour- see Cambridge website for correct the burgundy colour. The only acceptable logo is the school logo available from Cambridge Uniforms.
VESTS - PLAIN burgundy vests - no ruffles, sequins, decorative designs, or embellishments. Vests must must match the approved burgundy colour- see Cambridge website for the correct burgundy colour. The only acceptable logo is the school logo available from Cambridge Uniforms.
FOOTWEAR - All students are required to have one pair of outdoor shoes and one pair of indoor shoes (to be worn inside the school only) on the first day of school. For safety reasons, footwear must be appropriate for school activities. No sandals or Croc style shoes are permitted.
PE STRIP – PLAIN white, grey or burgundy t-shirt. Grey or burgundy shorts or jogging pants. IC Kodiak t-shirts may be purchased through the school office (sizing limited) or ordered online through our school spirit store partner Sprauge and Co.
Official Supplier
The official school uniform supplier is Cambridge Uniforms and Next. Parents may order directly from the company online or by telephone. You will need the code, YEH989, to set up your online account.
IF alternate sources for dress code items are used please note that they MUST adhere to the dress code requirement.
