ACTIVITIES

  • Leadership - This is a great place to channel and harness all of those great leadership qualities. Students in Grade Six and Seven participate in and arrange activities that promote responsibility, citizenship and school spirit.
  • Red Cedar Book Club - Get buried in books! Intermediate students can choose from special book titles and meet regularly to discuss and review these books.
  • Band - Here's a chance to really make a noise! Band is open to students in Grades 6 and 7. Practices run twice a week during school hours. Students will take part in activities during the year such as MusicFest Fanfare which happens in April.
  • Choir - Refine the vocal chords and have fun! The choir is open to students in Grades One to Five. These students sing at church gatherings, community events and various school activities.
  • Yearbook - Finally, somewhere to use all your computer skills. Intermediate students meet weekly to record school events and plan pages for our annual yearbook.
  • Chess - Time to strategize! Students meet once per week at lunch hour to enjoy chess challenges.
